Yes, and after using LaRue, I have no more "quick'detach" scope rings. Accuracy, precision, and repeatability are more important to me. A 7/16" wrench allows me to "quickly" detach my rings AND the rings are not the weak link causing accuracy problems. I'd suggest NF Unimounts instead. </div></div>You have personally had issues with the Larue mount? Could you please go into more detail with the problems you have had?

Sure, I would not say anything unless I had personal experience. LT-104: would not hold a zero. After much troubleshooting and switching rifles and NF scopes, I was absolutely positive the mount was the problem. For example, shot a 450/600 in F-class match with this mount and then shot a 570/600 with the same rifle/scope and a NF unimount the next week. I fiddled with tightening the scope rings properly, increase the tension on the quick release lever. It did not help. I think the way the rings mount to the base is the problem: too much opportunity for things to move around. Anyway, with the NF Unimount, the AR now shoots lights out.
