This week completes 30yrs at my present job, a milestone I never figured to make it to.(hell 20yrs was tough enough)

So I decided to treat myself to something special, and my wife agreed too. 😉

It will be here early next week.

Congrats on the 30 year milestone and congrats on finding an awesome M24, that one is beautiful! I had one of the refurbished M24 kits like yours and it was one of the most accurate rifles ever ever owned. Straight up cloverleaf one hole groups at 100 yards with that older Leupold scope. I traded it to a friend last year and regret it. You're going to enjoy this rifle, please post pics when you take it to the range or out in the field hunting!

It sold already gentlemen

I typically keep my eyes peeled for them but the only thing I'm sure of in the world is the prices of an AW are going to continue to rise.

Glad I grabbed one a couple years ago when prices just started to climb but weren't insane

I've owned mine since it was shipped from Remington. With the right ammunition it will squeak down to 1/2moa and with the wrong ammo it is still accurate as hell. Some of the training M24 rifles we examined had close to 10K rounds and still made accuracy standards. I like shooting mine, when I can get time off. The next nice rifle I'm looking for is a retirement present in about 12 months. If Pedo Joe does not destroy the economy, I'm so done in a quickly decreasing amount of time.

How much did that thing run, if we can pry it out of you?
