.338 250gr or 350gr

Hey Guys
I will be getting a .338 rem 700 MLR very soon and I'm stuck as to whether i should use 250gr or 300gr weight bullets. I think that it is a 1in 10" twist barrel. What are the pro's and cons of these bullet weights. Any advice is very appreciated.

What are you going to use it for? Lighter bullet will shoot flatter for shorter ( and this is relative)distance.Heavier will carry more energy for longer shots.I have the same rifle currently and it prefers 250 gr SMK, good out to 1k yds.You may need to see what you'rs likes.Good luck on a nice rifle!

Most shooting will be under 1000yards for now so I think I might give the 250's a whirl
