338 build???

I am looking to build a 338 for long range hunting, mainly elk and deer. I am just wondering why everyone talks about the rum,lupua,&edge but no one seems to mention the 338-378 weatherby? Is there any problems with this round? Glad I found this site its full of info.

I was a little torn between the two recently and went with the 338LM because of the availability of quality brass. The .338-.378 Weatherby Magnum has a little more powder capacity but I think the accuracy would be a little less. For hunting, take your pick. I currently use a .30-.378 Weatherby Magnum and I can only get about 2-3 loads on the brass.
