Is there any real advantage to using Edge dies over 338 RUM dies? Would the RUM work just as well? What about using 338 RUM neck dies.

If I'm not just talking out my ass.... The 300 RUM case is longer than the 338 RUM case, so I'd say that would be a disadvantage.

The difference in length is 0.090". The taper at the base is the same so, that's the reason for the question.

I sent out a redding 300 RUM full length sizer out for to be bored out for 338 and type S bushing neck. I had the 300 RUM sizer laying around and doing me no good so the conversion seemed to make sense for me.
