Building a 338 edge off a rem 700 8mm mag action. Was planning on using a B&C stock. Will I have problems if I load to 3.785" OAL? Or will I have to make it a single shot?
Measur your magwell to see if it will fit.
If not get a Wyatt magbox,MBE-2, I think, and have a smith install it for you. Might have to file the rails alittle for feeding as the 300RUM case is wider than the 8mm REM. Pretty minor modifications. Great cartridge and worth the trouble.
