Re: EDGE ... Savage

Sub MOA to 720 so far, only 50 down the tube... Amazing how little it cares about the wind.... Makes me look GOOD

Re: EDGE ... Savage

Wow! Two six-screw scope rings?!

Are those Badger max rings? That scope definitely isn't going anywhere.

Re: EDGE ... Savage

.338 edge and burris xtr rings is what it looks like he said.

nice rifle you got there. Whats your opninion on the aluminum rings? Is the .338 edge much different than the .338 Ultramag?

thanks

Re: EDGE ... Savage

About 100 - 150 FPS faster than RUM, With Normal RUM barrel of 26 - 28"

If I was building a Lighter weight rig, with shorter barrel I would not hesitate to go RUM. But this build I wanted All I can get... Sacrificing some portability.

I have been running them Burris rings for a few years, never a issue, no ring marks and No Movement with hard use.. I Lap them and run'em hard.
