I've bought a box from here, that were home mollied and while I've not actually shot them, I've shot the 150gr/170gr LB in 308 and they are a high BC bullet, for a FMJ design.

In the '04 VV reloading pamphlet, they list the BC of the .338 250gr LB at .662 and the BC of the Scenar at .675, so slighly lower for the LB.

If you can get them a lot cheaper than the Scenars, go for it, but if they're the same price, or only marginally cheaper, just go with the Scenars.

I use them exclusively and think they are a great value. My load is 94gr of RL25. After shooting over 1k of them this year I dont expect I will be changing to anything else. They are 7.1 mils to 1k out of my DTA.

I have tried the new 300 gr Bergers Hybrids, 250 and 300 gr Sierra HPBT, and the Lapua 250 gr scenars. The Lapua have performed better than the rest. I'm using 93 gr of H1000. Barrel is a 1 in 9 twist.
