338 Lapua Long Distance Ballistics!!

Hi guys, made a short video showing the ballistic power of lead core vs solid copper rounds in the 338 Lapua. I did testing at 500 yards and 1000 yards. I hope you guys enjoy the video and please let me know what you think! Thanks

I took two important things away from this video:

1: 32% of the original weight of a 338 Lapua bullet is still as much or more than many rifles' original projectile weight

and,

2: You are not safe behind a block wall, at any reasonable distance, from a 338 Lapua.

On the flip side, it doesn't seem like those copper solids expand so well-probably not great for hunting applications but good for punching holes through things that are very hard.

Would you mind sharing your load data for those copper solids? Powder type, case, MV, etc.

What altitude are you shooting at in your videos?
