I have a problem with Norma brass in my 338 Lapua. I can size it down to fit in just fine but it's hard to extract after firing even on a mild load that other brass( Lapua, PPU, Hornady) has no problem with. I bought it as 2 x fired from local. Thanks

Need more data:

Gun
Bullet
Bullet seating depth(Cartrige OAL or Bullet ogive measurement)
Distance from lands
powder
powder charge weight
Primer
Brass
Brass prep
leade (where the bullet touches the lands)
Shoulder position datum measurement
???

Norma brass is great but is is known to be a bit on the soft side compared to lapua!

Tight bolt lift? Are you having to tap the bolt handle back to get it to open? Check to see if the brass is to long. My 300 Lapua brass likes to be 2.710. I don't know what the 338 calls for but if the Norma is a little on the soft side and if it has been a few time fired, with the taper in the 338 lapua case I would give it a look.

AT thanks it is same OAL as my other brass. Tight like tap it out with a rod tight.
I might just sell it and keep shooting the other brass
