Has anyone changed out the bottom metal on their 700 Mlr 338 Lapua magnum? Mine is a second generation with the single stack 5 round mag. I was thinking of changing it out for factory type steel bm. I shoot mostly prone and the long mag gets in the way. Just wondering if the raceway or feed ramps need modifications? Or what about coal? And inletting?
