I have a .338 Norma Magnum AI, will a normal .338 Norma Magnum seating die work? There are no dies for the Ackley Improved version of the .338 Norma Magnum that I have. Just a hand die.

It should, the only change is the shoulder angle. Just give it a try and go slow. You should be fine.

I haven't reloaded any yet. I have about 250 rounds of .338 Norma Magnum that are factory ammo. I am shooting those and using the fire formed brass to reload. only bummer is the brass gets stuck at times so a wooden dowel is always with me. factory now I am getting 2790
Sounds like the factory loads r a little to hot for fire forming, I have a 338 lapua ai and a 300 Norma ai, had that problem with those getting stuck too I just backed the charge of a little and it's been working great since. Running 2710 out of the lapua with for forming loads with a 28" krieger, ai cases r running 2978 with rl33

Yeah its hot for fire forming but they work great. Under 2 inches at 400. I think I'm going to shoot the rest and shoot out this barrel and then get the same barrel again since I will have all the fire formed brass that will last 2 more barrels.
Nice, yea mine shoots the fire forming loads extremely well too sub 1/2 Moa on a regular basis
