Gunsmithing 338 Norma, to improve or not to improve....

That is the question.

Ok, I've got the barrel and action ordered for the new toy. Got a little bit of time to decide between regular 338 Norma and the 338 Norma Ackley Improved. Is there any reason "not" to go with the 338 AI? Gunsmith has both reamers.

No reason at all not to improve. Fireforming loads still shoot 0.5 MOA.

The only potential downside is the need for custom dies, but Whidden will take care of you.
