just got a few cases of 338 in will try some out sunday lets see if this swiss p lives up to the hype both loads are alleged to shoot to the same poi out to 1760! i will have a few boxes left over if any one is intrested pm me

Let me know, what you think about Swiss P. Still deciding to get some boxes in .308 Win, but I am not sure if those rounds are worth the money. No comparison to the .338 LM, but if they are just as accurate as other ammo brands, I won't buy them, whatever the caliber is.

How much do they go for? The Hornady and Swiss P stuff?

they don't worth the money in 308 nothing special, also not in 338 it's very accurate and a bit faster then normal but nothing to write home about.
You can reload much better
the brass is a bit soft

Anyway with ammunition prices in Europe I don't see any option for you except reloading.

do you have where to shoot beyond 300 meter?

In Germany, there are some places, but I had not the chance to shoot beyond 300. Still working on a proper amount of ammunition.

the swiss p did great same poi out to 800 to much wind to strech it out to 2500. ive not got a chance to reload it yet to find out about the hardness ive got swiss p and some hornady left over hit me with a pm if someone wants some ive got some 308 but never tried it will shoot some this week and let you know how it groups i bought it to sale but now i want to try some out before its all gone

I bet you the .308 shoots as good as the .338, Ruag is expensive but you get what you pay for. I dont think the brass is soft as stated eariler, I have shot it for about 5 years now.
