Rifle Scopes 34mm Scope Mount for Weatherby Vanguard S2

I just ordered a 4.5-29x56 Athlon Cronus BTR for my .308 Weatherby Vanguard S2, but I can't seem to find a 34mm scope mount for the Vanguard. I did notice that picatinny rails were available though. Would you all recommend that I get a picatinny rail and a separate 34mm scope mount?

If so, any recommendations on the rail and mount?

I think I'll go with the Talley picatinny rail (20 MOA). They're going for $43 on Amazon. Now I just need to pick a 34mm mount. I'm thinking quick release so I could use it on my AR if I wanted to.

Any suggestions for a light, reliable, quick release mount?

I got a badger ordnance 34mm extra high, 1.3" with 20moa cant for my 6.5 cm ar platform with a cronus scope. I choose this mount mainly because no quick disconnects and the height was perfect. Most I found were 1.5" and taller. The quality is top notch, no complaints.
