Suppressors 357mag good as back up in AK?

going to AK hunting. Would 357magnum be good enough as a backup gun? Current load has 125gr bonded stuff going 1500fps 4" bbl.

I would personally want at least a 44mag with hard cast bullets, but the .357 mag with hard cast bullets is way better than nothing!

Never been, but a good buddy who lives there says 44 mag or better...

Loaded very hot maybe. I'd go 44mag personally, but a 4" 357 with heavy hard cast is better than nothing.

The 10's with hot hot loads can approach a 41 mag, and hold 15 rounds (depending) which is pretty nice.

Neither 10mm nor .357 mag is anywhere near enough.

Better than nothing, I'd probably just stick to whatever your primary hunting rifle is.
