I am putting together a rifle and i have a 30 moa rail en route.. The nicest scope i have to use right now is an h-59 mk5 5-25 with a 35mm tube. its in a sphur 5001 at the moment at 8.4oz of mount. any suggestions for maybe a lighter mounting rig? I saw badger ord should hit 4.5ish ozz which i assume it both rings.
I am also concerned about min parallax being 50yd instead 25yard any feedback on that?

hawkins rings. light and 35mm

i used to worry about 32y parallax on my razor. but I'm zoomed out enough (16x typically) it doesn't matter

also we rarely shoot inside 50y anyways

Good call, I actually have to see if i can get my prc to light NRL weight and i think 5 oz is what it needs to get to just under 12lb. might pay to switch that sphur out on that one for lightweight rings and use it for this use case....
