i was looking at those M10 but thought they might have a chance of getting flimsy due to all the hinges!, but maybe that’s just me overthinking. What about the vortex Precision? Are they durable I’d like to get some feed back on thoseCan't beat American Rifle Company M10 rings, only rings I'd run aside from a Spuhr Mount.

If you had to go with lightweight and durable is there any recommendation you would have?M10s won't the the lightest as far as rings go but they do work great.
Buddy was mounting a set of 30mm TPS aluminum rings tonight, and torqued them to 65in/lbs per specs on the TPS site. Rear ring went on without any issue, but the front ring snapped off where the cross member locks into the ring (opposite of the hex nut).
Anyone dealt with TPS customer service before, and what should we expect when we call tomorrow? Also, has anyone seen this type of failure with TPS rings?

Thanks for the offer but I’ll pass!
I thought they looked the same “the vortex and seeking”...thanks!Vortex precision matched are Seekins rings and are an excellent choice.
The last set of 35mm rings I bought were Badger and are very high quality but as allready suggested the M10 rings are a solid choice as well.
Just pick from any of those three with the physical dimensions and weight you like best and they will serve you well.
Thank you for the info, I appreciate it!..sounds like the vortex are more like what I’m looking for!Run Barrett Zero Gaps in 35mm. Used their 30mm as well. Light weight , good holding power and easy on the scope tube's finish. I have a pair of 34mm Vortex rings, smooth surfaces, decent bearing surface for good grip, solid construction but light and dual torx bit connect to rail. On par with anything I have used. Think you can't go wrong with any above mentioned offerings, something for every budget, caliber/scope pairing, look and need.
Haha ?...yes it sure can!I've had nothing but a set of TPS rings on my 300wm since I bought it.
No muzzle brake and running mostly 200-208 grain bullets in the 2860-2900 fps range and never an issue.
Anything manmade or ham fisted by man can be broken.
It’s also got the “bulky” torque knob like the badger, which I’m not a big fan of!Haha ?...yes it sure can!
And also it keeps me from putting my 18”” pipe-wrench on there to torque break!..ha!?Haha ?...yes it sure can!

I think I’ll go that route,..Thanks!Then the Vortex/ Seekins rings would be a great suggestion.
I'm running a set of 34mm Seekins on one of my rifles and the way they attach to the rail is seamless if you want something less likely to snag although not really an issue or just for the aesthetics of the design.
Thanks for the feed back! I appreciate it.I started running the Vortex Precision rings earlier this year and they have done very well for me, no hesitation buying them again.
