Same info as all the other posts guys.

What are your rifle specs and all the info you have on the load.

Thanks

DT HTI 350 SMK Bertram or Peterson brass:

131-132 Retumbo @3050-3075 fps
134-135 N570 @3120-3140 fps
142-143 RL33 @3120-3140 fps

All max loads if you want the brass to last. All 0.010" off lands. All 215M primer. Bertram has 168 grains H2O capacity, Peterson (and Jamison) have 167. It makes about 1/2 grain difference in speed/pressure.

Re brass: Peterson>Bertram>>>Jamison

140 bmg 50, 400 grn, 36" barrel 2975ish.

Can go higher ok. 144ish. Ymmv

@oinco

@j-huskey is correct. Is is BMG50.

Several of our friends recommended Retumbo... but the rifle builder highly recommended the BMG50. The owner of the rifle didn't realize it at the time.... but they are stopping the production of BMG50... so he did the smart thing, and stocked up like it was Armageddon.

And Retumbo is fine for 350 grain solids, maybe the 380 grain range, but BMG 50 and a long barrel for the 400 grain.

thanks gentlemen! Have a 35" 9 twist that is almost ready to go, so appreciate the help!

Welcome, your feedback will be appreciated when you get moving with it. We did have John Whidden build us a specific seater insert for the 400 grainer. Some seater dies may not work well, could and do easily deform the tip. The seater I use for 350 Sierras will not work with the solids.
Be aware of that.

Anyone have a 6br 115 DTAC RBT load they would like to share? Please include barrel length and powder used and what velocity achieved thanks!

Hi,

You will probably get more replies if asked in the 6BR thread; which is at the present time a few threads below this one.

Sincerely,
Theis
Thanks I accidentally posted to wrong page. I appreciate your patience.

Mine isn’t a cheytac but a Snipetac. A little bit improved version. I’ll throw my loads here though for anyone interested.

Forming today,
Lehigh 330gr brass .010” into the lands
130gr Retumbo
Federal mag primers
Bertram brass
Formed cases well with no ignition problems in 30 degree weather
