What neck tension are you using on bullets W/O a crimp band I.E. RMB jacketed. Do you crimp bullets with a band? The TTI ammo I'm using has a slight crimp, I have just about exhausted it and ready to reload, have bullets with and W/O band, rifle EDM WR.

Re: 408 CT: neck tension / crimping.

I tend to do about three neck sizings for every full sizing, no crimp. I tried a bunch of different bushing sizes but settled on .433" for uniform neck tension. .435" was too loose for me and by the time I'd neck sized twice the neck had expanded enough that the 419gr solids would slide in too easily. .434" worked well for me but over time I had similar problems, so I went a further size down and it seems pretty good so far.
