Hi I’m using Ramshot Tac for .308 & .303 with good result, can I use for my Marlin .44 magnum and what loads for 240g lead bullets

I don’t see TAC on the list for 44 mag.

Another vote for 4227 or H110. Yes you'll have multiple powders, but you'll have better results instead of trying to make it work

No, Tac is too slow for the .44 Mag. You need a Magnum pistol power for full power loads. There are two good suggestions above ^^^^^^.

Tac would probably push a cast bullet out of barrel with a cast bullet and a casefull lol.

Lil gun, 2400, w296,h110,4227 are great.

Unique and 800x do a good job for lighter loads.

As to what loads, just depends what you want to do! A lyman cast bullet manual has a lot of great info for cast bullet shooting and the 44.

I always used h110 for heavy loads and 700x or 231 for light loads.

Forgot to add... 2400 is a favorite since it can run upper mid or low upper speeds with standard primers well! May be helpful these days with the poor primer selection

h110, 296, 4227.
Just like everyone else I guess.
As a side note, 4227 works great in the 223/5.56 also

My loads with 2400 are a bit more consistent that H110/296 loads; I haven’t used Enforcer personally.
I really like the Zero bullet; it is my favorite. It really seems to tighten up groups out of my Marlins due to its slightly greater diameter and that large meplat is a deer hammer. Highly recommend them, and the price is excellent to boot.

When I started, 2400 was all that was available. So, that is what we loaded. I am a bit partial to ww296. However, most of my revolver shooting is with Unique. Easy on the hands, easy on the gun and easy on the budget. Heavy loads with ww296 when it matters. Lots of fun and lots of noise

I’ve been using Enforcer.
I’m down to a couple lbs of h110 and found 8 lbs Enforcer and decided to try it out to save the h110
So far I’ve been happy loading .44 and +p 45lc with it and it meters great. I’m using mostly 240xtp through two different lever rifles both with 16in barrels. I’ll buy more if I find it

No Stop TAC will not work in 44 mag
You need H110 at 24.0 with 240gr with Mag Pistol Primers

Of course, TAC is unsuitable in 44 Mag. I think the powder would mostly fizzle and likely leave the bullet stuck in the barrel. I wouldn't be afraid to pull the trigger provided somebody else had to deal with the result.

H110. HS6. HP38. They all work very well in 44 mag. From full power barn burning loads down to cowboy action loads. You can do anything with those 3 powders. TAC is a terrible idea though, nothing good will come from that.
