my boss came over and gave me 15,000 cci large pistol magnum primers......anyone try them in 45acp before....I know alot of guys shoot large rifle magnum primers in standard rifle calibers but have not checked into this in pistols........What are your thoughts?

Drop your regular powder charge by a full grain and shoot three or four rounds over a chronogragh. Check the velocity against your regular load. Be sure the check your primers and cases after you try a few. If you feel or hear anything different, stop and check your cases / primers. But a 1 full grain drop should be a decent place to start.
