I have a Angstadt Arms https://angstadtarms.com/product/1045-receiver-set-for-glock/ .45 ACP upper and lower set that has been sitting in the safe for about 2 years. I finally decided I want to go ahead and build this out. Unfortunately Angstadt Arms is no longer making the .45 ACP barrels or uppers for these. I have been looking online for a barrel around 10.5" - 12.5". I plan on calling them tomorrow to see if they have any recommendations as to who or where I can get a barrel from. In the meantime are there any vendors or companies that anyone would recommend? Looking online I found a company https://www.joeboboutfitters.com/Ne...-12-5-Match-Grade-45ACP-p/nfa-bbl-45mg-12.htm but don't know anything about them or the barrel. I will probably stay with the Angstadt Arms handguard unless a better option is suggested. The lower is being Form 1 right now just waiting on the paperwork to clear. I don't trust the ATFE and what they will do down the road regarding pistol braces. The gun is being built as a plinker, hog hunter, and home defense. It will run a Griffin Armament Bushwhacker 46 unless I decide on a dedicated .45 pistol can at a later time. I may eventually purchase a 16" barrel for shits and giggles.

Has anyone ever used Joe Bob Outfiiters? Are they good to go as a reliable company? What about New Frontier Armory barrels?
I have ordered from Joe Bob with no issues. Sorry I can't answer the other questions.

Another option is Quarter Circle 10: https://www.quartercircle10.com/

They sell components as well as complete rifles.

My LGS doesn’t like them for some reason, and have heard from a few folks who heard from ‘someone’ they knew who had issues with their complete guns built up from them, but mine has operated flawlessly over the last couple of years:

Bought it as a kit, then stripped it down to the bare frame for Cerakoting before I reassembled and tuned it (mostly adjusting the buffer weight) myself though.

What handguard andsuppressor are you running? I like the suppressor being inside the handguard.

Handguard is an Odin Works O2 lite… 15” IIRC. I think this is the one I had Cerakoted FDE at the same time as the receivers so they’d all match, but looking at the pic, this may have been the one that came in FDE…color looks a little off to me.

Have another one of those that was black, but had Cerakoted at the same time as these receivers, plus another regular AR receiver set, as well as some other small parts.

A bit snug on my old AAC TiRant-45 with the fixed barrel adapter in instead of a piston; also Cerakoted, but in Burnt Bronze a couple years ago. Think the ID of the handguard is ~1.6” and the can is 1.5” or so.
