I had a bunch of range .45ACP brass, and would like to be able to figure out about how much I have. I really don't feel like counting every piece. How much does a 1000 .45ACP brass cases weigh?

Think about your question.
How many different brands are in the pile?
You have a scale, so weigh a couple hundred and multiply x5.
Remember tho, not even the very best rifle brass weighs the same even when it comes from the same lot!

Sounds like a plan.... One of my friends gets to clean up after the combat action matches at our local range. He gave me a box of mixed .45ACP brass, and it has been sitting on my shelf for a while. I figure just sell it, and give him $20 or what ever I get for it.
