4DOF missing bullets?

Clearly I'm retarded. I'm looking for Hornady 87gr V-max for one of my loads. I currently use strelok pro, which lists it.

Help ? (I'm not a paying user for 4DOF if that matters).

Anyone know how to get new bullet files ? I'm after the VMAX series specifically in all cal's and weights. Thanks.

I've run into the same problems, it's a bummer they only seem to have more 'match' oriented bullets.

If it’s not in the 4DOF list you have to use their BC solver

They are listed in the G1/G7 calc as a G1, which will work. It's only a 500m setup, so I'll roll with that. It's very close to strelok pro, which I've been using and works well, will try to learn and dial in 4dof when I'm out next.
I have DOPE and weather recorded from last session, so can use it as a base line to mess with and get close.

Their 4DOF library is still growing and they are still working to map their current catalog of bullets. They have focused on common bullets for long range comp and hunting first.

They made the solver free to steer people to their bullets. I would pay for an expanded library as I believe their solver is only bested by a custom drag model by AB but you have find the mobile lab then it changes with a new barrel.

I agree. Like it being free, but happy to pay for premium, or a "freemium" where you pay for a few select things, like a bullet library.

I can still use the 87gr VMAX, so I'm set. Not like it's a bench rest or points-at-a-comp gun. I'm happy

As mentioned the bullets in the library are the only ones they have made custom drag curves for with the Doppler so it is what it is. You can use the generic BC program though.
