5.56 Bulk Ammo for Iron Sight 16” AR?

I have been buying match ammunition for so long I have lost touch with lesser offerings.

For my 16” AR with iron sights (A2 style upper), what is a good bulk ammo choice

Any advice would be appreciated.

The mechanical precision of the system does not change with the sighting system.

What are your precision expectations for the rifle?

Mag dumping into trash at 7 yards?

NRA Highpower?

Somewhere in between?

300 yards and in, 2/3 IPSC.

Ok, so a 4 moa target. Pretty much anything (other than m855) will shoot better than that out of a reasonably good barrel. I’d probably pick up a couple flavors of m193 and see what I liked best. Which ever wins, stack deep.
