^.5 Creedmoor Brass

I've been reading some pretty negative comments about Hornady's 6.5 Creedmoor brass: short life, loose primer pockets. They also seem almost impossible to find.

Anyone agree/disagree with this?

How hard would it be to make Creedmoor cases from quality .308 cases? Size and trim? Neck ream?

I don't believe any of those reports. I have loaded the 140s to 2870fps, which is hotter than factory, and have 4 reloadings on that brass and everything is still tight. Primer pockets are great. I would bet atleast another 6 loadings if not many more.

You can get brass at the Gun Stop and also Creedmoor Sports. Both usually have it especially Creedmoor sports.

People have made it out of .308s but I guess it's a pain. It's parent cartridge is the 30TC so if you could find some of that it might be easier.
