Hey guys, I've been a forum stalker here for quite a long time and finally decided to sign up myself. I've built multiple rifles largely based on advice I've found here so I'm not new to the hobby. What I am new to however, is 50 BMG builds. I currently have a Barrett M99 in 50 BMG and have decided to sell it and build my own off of an action. The main thing I want is a repeater with a detachable magazine. I've been looking at some actions and from what I can tell the BAT 2.0 EX BMG and Noreen ULR actions (haven't found out whether those allow detachable mags) seem to be good choices to build off of. I've picked out either a Krieger or Lilja 32" barrel, still looking around for a good contour though. I figure I'd use the XLR chassis. If there is anything I should know or steer clear of please let me know, because like I said I'm new to building 50bmgs. I would really appreciate some input from you guys as I value it a lot, thanks in advance.
