I couldnt find the thread but a while back there was someone looking for 50 BMG stories. This one looks like fun and shows pretty well what the muzzleblast does...though it does contain the recoil well.

I probably wouldn't feel comfortable shooting a semi auto .50 in a bullpup with the chamber that nice and close to my face.

Too bad it is not that simple for the Canadian company to send it to your FFL lol. Your FFL must submit a form 6 import application to the BATFE, the FFL then sends the import approval to Canadian dealer for them to apply for their export permit.
Once your FFL receives the firearm they have like 14 days or something like that to engrave the firearm with their FFL information just as they manufactured the firearm. Not many FFLs are going to take on that liability.

You just have to use an importer, usually set up by the seller. I've imported several guns from Europe. If you're going to drop $11,000, an importer isn't that big a deal. This company has an importer set up.
AX50 would be bolt action, if you wanted something similar at a similar price, there are the Barrett made Semi-Autos.
What this specific design brings to the table is semi-auto in a much shorter package than the Barrett and other similar semi-autos.
Accuracy International advertised a semi-auto .50 rifle, but I think they never sold it to "normal" folks.
yeah... the 50 has a typical powder charge of 215-230 grains....... should it KB, it's a big KB.
