511 Rush72 Pack

Anyone have any experience with the Rush72 pack made by 511? Thinking about using for PRS type matches. Too large for this use?

I’ve got one and have used it for PRS. It’s a good sized no frills backpack. Probably my only gripe about it has been it’s just two big compartments and I had to almost dump it out to find my small bits. Other than that it’s a good pack.

I have the Rush 24 I thought about using. It seems just right. The pack can fit a Game Changer bag in no problem along with other stuff. Although I’m looking for a new pack I wouldn’t hesitate on using it. The 72 is just too big for me. All that means is more room to pack stuff I don’t need.

It may be a bit big. I have it and was intending to use it for range/comps but as noted, it’s large unorganized compartments lent itself to constant searching.

Mine is now relegated to bug out bag because I keep everything in there sorted by color bags anyway.

Switched to a 24 most of the time, and for the bigger gear days I use a Halftrack by eberlestock.

Wanted an upranger but couldn’t find any good reviews of it and it looked really heavy.

Thanks all for the feedback. New to these type matches, so the input is much appreciated. My wife and son picked one up for me, so I may relegate it to a Travel pack for work. I am gone nearly every week for 2-3 days, which sounds like may be perfect for this bag? Thanks again.

i got the 72 for prs matches and i took it elk hunting. it's pretty substantial, can't see it falling apart. but it sure is heavy.
