That is the aiming point. Where the two triangles intersect - seems to help for my eyes. I made the target in word and the squares are .5"
I gave it one 1/4moa click down and one click left after that group.
I cut that one out for the wallet - hopefully there will be more like it. There wasn't anything else good to see on that one as I had zeroed a new Encore barrel on the other aiming points on the page and it wasn't quite as impressive.

Rifle is a stock Rem 700 5r Milspec off of a harris brm-s shot prone with a sock in the back, 175smk, 43gr varget, 2.815oal, cci 200, and about 6x fired LC surplus brass. It's topped with a Leupold 6.5-20x40 LR VXIII with fine duplex.
This is the best group I have ever fired with it - which is mostly driver related.

Did you allow a cool down between shots or fire them one after another??
How far are your 175's off the lands???

No cool down, barrel was warm and dirty when I started. Last two shots I could see mirage through the scope from the barrel heat - I'm surprised I didn't get two high flyers.
175s are WAY off the lands. Like .15" <span style="font-style: italic">not .015"</span>
