I load my 52gr Nosler CC to 2.375" but want to try the 52gr AMAX. With the Ballistic Tip the COAL will be considerably longer unless I seat them much deeper.

What COAL are you guys running with this bullet in a .22-250?

Thanks

l set a load up for a friend at the Hodgdon COAL of 2.350" and then tweeked it from there. l don't have my loading book with me, but if l remember l'll bring it into work and put it up tonight.
l was using AA2460 and RP brass + Sellier & Bellot primers (all a bit random l know but that's what we had to go on at the time)

2.350 is shorter than what the Hornady manual says and shorter than I load my CC or SMKs. I dont see how, or why, you would load them short especially in a 700 with the forever throat.
