Here you go:

Parts:

Clips purchased at walmart. In the camping section. Use rope of your choice.

Run one end of the rope to a clip

Attach the clip to your belt loop or belt

Run the rope thru your swivel

Now run the rope thru the other clip and attach to your belt loop/belt. It should look like this

I do not see how adding downward tension to the butstock helps to stabilize the platform?
