Re: 6.5 06

If you don't handload, don't bother, it's out of your reach. Nothing wrong with the 25-06, nearly identical. If you are like me, and have a thing for 6.5, then go with the swede. Great cartridge. If you want something bigger, like the above said, do the 270. All of these are very close to the same as far as ballistics and usability.

Re: 6.5 06

My 6.5x55 swede is built on R700 30.06 action. There is match ammo available for this round. My rifle prefers Norma 130gr.

Awh.....

Tampons are in isle four.

Seriously, I understand that all you noobs are too busy to use google or the search engine but spare me the effing sob story.

"You guys are all mean!"

I pretty effing green too so people like you that come one here and ask questions without a simple google search make people like me look bad.

The thing is people like you and I are lucky as hell that there are long time pros and others in "the know" that are willing to humor us with our questions after they put in the time to "know" the answers. IS IT REALLY TOO MUCH TO ASK to try a little, like five effing minutes on google befor asking? That being said, I wasn't trying to be a dik, just pointing out that a little research would have produced and answer for you, and probably you would have gained a little collateral knowledge in the mean time.

Sorry to get your panties in a ruffle......

Food for thought..... I'm pretty sure when LL started this forum his primary concern was not answering questions for noobs. From what I gather it was established as a community where professionals could discuss long range/ tactical shooting and thier expierences related to that topic. We're lucky that they've let us listen in.

I'm done with this thread as I see it going nowhere. Just want to clarify why I gave you a hard time. Have fun shooting. Welcome
