6.5 123gr scenar

Anyone using these ? Opinion wanting to try a lighter bullet .

This is what I use almost exclusively in my x47.
99% of my shooting is within 500m.

I’ve shot thousands out of my 6.5x47L with RL17 at 3000fps. Crazy accurate to 1000yds. Node is really wide and they are jump tolerant.

What range of power do you run with RL17? I have some I would like to try with 123 scenars and 130 norma GT's.

I use 40.7gr RL17 with the 123 scenar in both a 28” and a 30”. It’s going 3060fps in the 30”. Both barrels are Bartlien. You could probably push them a little harder, but I didn’t see the reason in it. It does everything that this cartridge is supposed to do and isn’t hard on the rifle or brass.
