Here is load data for my gun:

1)GAP Templar V1 action, Bartlein #3 1:8.7 twist finished at 24", vias micro brake, GAP reamer

2)61 gr H1000

3)215 FGMM mag primer

4)Remington 300 SAUM brass worked by copper creek, 2.020" case length.

5)140 gr vldh, .001 off lands

6)3100 fps via Magnetospeed v3 over 5 shots, SD 4

7).25" 3 shot groups at 200 yds.

I bought this gun from a member and he had worked up load before I bought gun. It's lights out.

I have been looking at everyone's load data and I have noticed most of the people are seating the bullets off the lands in the hundredths (.010 to .020). I was curious as to why? I have always set mine no more than .002 of the lands and sometimes in to a slight jam. Would a large jump on the 140s be beneficial for some reason. Thanks in advance for you replies.
