6.5 CM 95 vmax

I grabbed a box to play with, used profile 3 on my Flir and hit a coyote with it. I aimed for the shoulder for shits and giggles and was not disappointed. Im not sure if a ground hog has enough mass to even make them expand but its worth a shot.

I've spun them up in the 6.5 SAUM to 3900fps. Imagine you could probably get 3200-3400 in a creedmoor with appropriate powder. The 3900 load was pretty hot in the SAUM, 3700-3800 is probably more realistic.

Worked up a load in my buddy’s 6.5 for coyotes .... final load was right at 3325 with 1/2 moa accuracy out to 500. He shot a dog at 70 yrds that came In to the call straight on shot and it hammered him. Pencil hole in, no exit but the dog felt like a wet sack of shit.

How were they in the wind?

They have a .182 g7 if you’d Like to punch them in to a calculator.

I’ve shot them a bit. Usually around 3200 fps. They never seem to shoot ragged holes for me, but I can usually manage 3/4 moa with them. Way way overstabilized in an 8 twist.

Here’s one next to a 140 eld
