Built this thinking I would jump on the 6.5 CM bandwagon but I’m too in love with my 260’s and have an AR-10 in 260 I shoot a lot more.
Build List:
Lower:
• Matching PSA Receiver Set very little to no play.
• Larue MBT Curved with anti-walk pins
• Ergo Grip
• B5 Sopmod
• Spikes lower parts kit
Upper:
• Wilson Combat 1-8” 18” SS fluted rifle gas 5/8x24
• Miculek style 3 port
• 15” Lightweight Keymod
• PSA 6.5 CM bolt carrier
• Wilson Combat adjustable gas block and gas tube
• Ambi Charging handle don’t know brand bought at local LGS
• Aero lightweight cantilever mount 34mm
• Just put on the Crimson Trace 3 Series 5-25x56 FFP mil/mil LNIB
I completely forgot but I loaded up a ladder to try RL-16 and 140 ELD-M’s. I’ll include those and the remaining sized and primed brass. See pic.
BIPOD NOT INCLUDED
Shoots consistent sub moa 3 shot group with 40.1gr IMR 4350 and 140 gr Nosler Custom Comps. Shot right at 1 moa with factory. Round count by my log book is 240, but I shot some factory ammo on a hunt and did some LR shooting on their range so it’s probably closer to 300-320. Had to sight in again.
***Note it has a couple of nicks right below charging handle where I had to tap out the charging handle because I didn’t correctly size the brass. I tried to show it but they aren’t very noticeable but want to be transparent***
Trades: 357 bolt/lever, 260’s, 280ai, 300 Blk bolt, FFP optics, nothing in particular just try me. Willing to pick up shipping if it’s an even trade. Cross posted.
