Hello,

I've been doing lots of research, I'm thinking of ordering my first 6.5 CM as a Xmas present to myself, and I was hoping for some insight from the members here. Specifically I'm looking to use this rifle for plinking steal/paper out to 1k, and PRS. I will likely top it with a Minox ZP5.

Specifically I'm looking at:
MPA BA
6.5 Creedmoor
Left Handed
Comp Chassis
Trigger Tech Diamond Pro Curve

The questions I have are:
1. For left handed, according to MPA the actions offered are: Kelbly, Stiller or for a upcharge a Defiance. The question I have: Is there anything special I should know about the differences between these 3 left handed actions?

2. When I called and talked to them, MPA recommended a #7 contoured barrel, but the offer several others . I'm thinking probably 26 or 24 inch. I did some research about barrel contours, but it seems most heavy barrel contours produce similar results. Anything wrong or that I should know about a MPA #7 for the listed applications?

3. Anything else I should know (or should specify when I order it) from people who own or have bought MPA's?

Thanks!

1: all 3 are excellent. I would ask if any are coated, DLC, Cerakote, Melonited... get what you want.
2: go with what they recommend if you don’t know why you specifically want.
3: they are a great company and will not steer you wrong.
