"Gun jump" is a fundamentals thing, not a recoil thing. Work on your fundamentals. With solid fundamentals and regardless of shooting position you should not have this "jump" you speak of. I do almost all my prone shooting from a wooden deck and have never hand an issue with it. A brake will calm the jump down a hair, but it will not fix it.
That said, if you want a very good brake I'd high suggest looking at the following: MPA Premium 6.5 brake, APA gen 2 Little Bastard/Fat Bastard, PVA Mad Scientist and the Area 419 Hellfire. They are all self timing and do not require gunsmthing to install. I have used all of the following and would say they are some of the best on the market. I am sold on the design of the Area 419 Hellfire bake through. I prefer the way it attaches and times to the jam nut design that the others use. As far as effectiveness goes I would say that they are all about equal with the PVA brake being every so slightly edged out by the MPA, APA and Area 419 brakes simply because the previously mentioned brakes push gas backwards. where as the PVA brake send gasses perpendicular to the muzzle.
