Has anyone ran this powder in the 6.5 creed? I am new to this cartridge, put it off a very long time but I decided to have a precision AR10 built in it. I already have a lot of rifles I load for and none of them share a powder most use in the 6.5 creed. It’s either to fast or to slow it seems.
I have many magnums/Weatherby’s so a nice stock pile H1000 & Imr 7828 ssc. Berger sent me some load data of the 130 otm hybrid and 156 eol, and Imr 7828 is listed on both with great velocity and case fill (maybe too much). It would be nice to just use it instead of adding another separate powder…. I’ll share the load they sent me.
130 otm, 48.6 max 2952 fps 106%
case fill 24” barrel tested
156 EOL, 44.3 max 2738 fps 104% case fill 26” barrel tested
