Just finished a build and was shooting Hornady Match 140 grains. Had some pressure signs on the first 10 rounds and then they started to fade away. Talked to JP (barrel manufacturer) and they said Hornady may have jumped up the load. I was getting 2700 fps out of the 22" barrel and JP said he was only getting 2600 fps when he first tested the same factory loads.
I am planning on adding the Tubb CWS to keep the bolt locked a little longer and a flat wire spring. Any thoughts on that? The case head had a smudge from the ejector in additoin to some primer lift and a crater.
JP also mentioned that the 120 and 129 grain bullets shoot a little better out of his personal rifle. I haven't started hand loading yet but it was shooting 3/4 MOA or better with the 140 gr. match loads.
