I have been reloading my 6.5CM for a few months now. Due to a lack of powder I’ve started building a load using Hodgdon 4831 SC (not a typical powder for this caliber, but data is available on Hodgdon reloading site). The Hodgdon date for a 140gr Hornedy ELD was from 39-43.5gr. I am using Lapua brass with small primer pockets. I am also using a Nosler 140gr RDF projectile. My first shot (41.8gr) blow a hole in the primer. Velocity was just over 2600fps (within expectations) and hit very close to point of aim. Not sure what to think of this. Any constructive feedback would be valuable. Thanks in advance.

Yeah, use the thicker primers or better yet the large priers like you found out already.

Id like to see this 6.5 high wall! I hope you have a tangent on it somehow.
