whats the difference if any? Getting ready to reload for my satern 20" marked .264lbc. Are the lbc dies worth the extra $40 bucks? Thanks in advance, Jeff
I use the Redding 6.5 Grendel full length Type-S bushing die set (36478) on my 264 LBC. Works like a champ. The difference in the Grendel and 264 LBC is the chamber dimensions. I believe case dimensions are the same for both.
The 264 LBC has a .295 neck compared to the Grendel .300 neck. Make sure your loaded rounds will be compatible with the tighter neck. I went with the Redding bushing dies so that I could better control neck dimension.
