Hi guys Question is I have a rifle I recently purchased as a switch barrel. 300 win mag and a 6.5 PRC barrels for. After shooting I think I want to leave the rifle set up for hunting in the 300 win platform as it shoots lights out and is quite light with Mcmillan stock and carbon barrel. So the question is I would like to put a build together as a dedicated 6.5. Im sure this is no big deal for most of you but I've installed triggers and that's about the extent of my knowledge. I have a Bighorn action on a 6BR I just purchased and I like that but Im open to ideas. I think I'd like to build this up as a hunting rifle but Its a pretty heavy barrel. Its a hawk hill light Palma .264 7.5 twist. Is the action, stock , trigger bolted up the extent of what's needed. Basically I'd like to pick up everything off the PX here but Im unsure of what I need size wise to buy to build this myself. Im sure this is a no brainer for most on here but Im no gunsmith and I want to build a nice rifle not just it'll work. Thanks Boys Shawn

If its built for that Christenson action I may not be able to put it together with a comparable action is that correct?
Hi guys sorry to hijack post . Can I build 6.5 prc off howa 300 win action. Will I still be able to mag feed rounds whats would have to be done for mag to feeding to run smooth ?
You have prc ammo or brass? If not I hope you're patient. I can't remember the last time I saw hornady brass in stock, nevermind lapua or adg and I'm not even sure factory ammo actually exists at this point. It's like a long running prank on the shooting community.
