I have a mint condition older Win model 70 xtr push feed magnum action with the the covered firing pin shroud and I would like
to build a 6.5 saum, can it be done? And what would be the benefits if any as to using a short action instead?
I would go with a dt bm system like CDI.
Probably a #3 contour barrel or even less to keep it on light side.
