6.5mm Triple Ogive 142 gr. B.C

Well been really busy at work. I now have the B.C for the 142gr. that I make. We shot them at 300yds. with the chrono at 299 yds from the muzzle. Velocity was 2711 average using H4350 powder and Rem. brass. The first B.C was 0.688 we thought it was a fluke so the next number was .708 well that is not possible, so the last test gave us 0.707

The near velocity was 2714.0 the far velocity was 2353.2 giving the BC 0.707
On the last test the far velocity increased by about 20FPS. but the near velocity stayed the same. Go figure.

I used my Mid range Match rifle, it is a Remington action with a 1-8 Krieger medium Palma taper 28in long.

What's the bullets length? Is it magazine friendly

I just loaded 60 for a friend to shoot in his .260 that has a mag. They fit in his mag just by a few thou. The Jacket is 1.325 long and they stretch just a little. Mike
