Gunsmithing 6.5x284 feeding geometry

A while back i read in a book a formula that one can use, based on case dimensions, to determine the correct feed geometry for a given rifle. Does anyone have or know where I can find this formula? I am trying to modify some mags for my 6.5x284. I have been plaged with feeding issues!

Can the bottom of the primer be seen with a cartridge loaded in the mag?
