Just purchased a custom built 6.5x284,26" Hart barrel Remington varmint contour. Will be used for mule deer hunting out west. My question is, with powder supplies the way they are my supply is H4350 and H1000. What is going to be my best choice, and do you have a good load that works for you. Thanks Guys!

I’d try H1000 first.

H1000 for 140’s and up, H4350 for lighter bullets is what works best in my rifle.

RL-22 works pretty well with 140 gr bullets, but H4350 has been my go to powder despite being just a little fast.

I loaded 142 SMKs over RL-22.in mine. With Lapua brass and a Federal 210M primer.
