I'm not trying to sound redundant.....but what are you shooters using with the 140gn Berger VLD in the 6.5X47 application?
I mean, type of powder, powder charge, type of primer, COAL, and velocity.
I've only shot 123gn scenars through mine and want to do a little load development with the Bergers.
Any info would be greatly appreciated,
    Thanks

    I just fire-formed a lot of 100 into 6.5x47 Imp .292" Nk

    6.5x47 Lapua Virgin cases
    Neck turned to .2895"
    CCIBR4
    35 Gr. RL15
    140 VLD (26401) .20" into lands.

Lots of cratering and blown primers, but the shoulder was crisp and sharp, so all-in-all a good fire form load.

Accuracy was in the .4 - .6 MOA range with 10 shot groups
.5 Mils to get to 200 yds from 100 yd zero.

    I don't have a 140gr Berger VLD load, but I do have a pretty sweet load w/ the 140gr Berger LR-BT.

    Its 38.2grs RL-15, CCI BR4, .010" off

Does 2865fps 12' from muzzle, and goes into 0.3" group at 100yd from my 26" Hart SS. Absolutely no pressure signs. I do have a long freebore, so make sure you work up to any load you start.

I'm going load development using H4350 but don't have any "published" data there to share yet.
